Mind Madness Review - using Pinterest


Who was the most influential psychologist in your opinion??

DIRECTIONS: Pin a picture of your psychologist to a shared board on PInterest. Then include their name, date of birth/death, place of birth and a short description of the individual, any university/organization they are associated with, and then finally the argument in support of their importance.

Assignments are on your paper and also at the bottom of this page.

Sign-Up for Pinterest

1. Go to www.pinterest.com

2. Click the red button that says ‘Join Pinterest’


3. Sign up or Log in using your email address, for existing facebook or twitter account

4. Create a username and password
Go ahead and sign up for Pinterest, creating a user name. If you create a new account rather than using Twitter or Facebook, Pinterest will ask you to confirm your email address.
Next, go to your email inbox and look for the confirmaiton message that Pinterest will have sent you. It should contain a confirmation link that you must click on to go back to Pinterest.com and finish signing up.

5. You will be prompted to select five boards to follow on Pinterest. Select any that you are interested in, you can always unfollow them later.


6. Next go to the "search" bar in the top left hand side of the screen, and look for "Ms. Pember". Follow me!

We will work from the board called "Mind Madness Period 2/4" I will invite you to join this board once you have followed me.

7. You will now use the internet or Pinterest to research your assigned psychologist and their key information. Once you have found out the info and a picture, upload a pin to the board!



8. To add a pin:

Make sure to select the correct board!

  • Click the ‘Add+’ button near the top right of your Pinterest window and choose ‘Upload a Pin.’

  • Add a website url address or click the “Choose File” button and locate the picture from your computer you wish to post

  • Select the board you want to post to from the drop-down menu

  • Describe your pin in the text box that says, “Describe your pin…”






Once you are done, use this board to fill out your bracket. Who was the most influential psychologist in your opinion??
